Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with teams to interpret needs, planning site architecture and functionality, developing custom themes and plugins, integrating complex components like forums/e-commerce, implementing SEO best practices, ensuring responsiveness on mobile devices, carrying out performance optimization and scalability testing, documenting code and sites, and providing ongoing maintenance and support.

- Custom WordPress theme and plugin development
- Site planning, content architecture, navigation design
- Complex component integration (forums, ecommerce, etc.)
- Customization of WordPress CMS functionality
- Performance testing and optimization
- Documentation of code, APIs, systems
- Maintenance, troubleshooting, and support
- 1+ years building complex WordPress sites
- Expert with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL
- Experience with REST APIs and modern frameworks
